ESOL: Full Time

If your first language is not English and you want to improve your English language skills, talk to us at Limerick City Adult Education Service.

We run a free full-time ‘English for Speakers of Other Languages’ (ESOL) programme for those over 21 years of age who are in receipt of a social welfare allowance. The programme runs Monday to Friday from September to June, and is funded through the Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme.

If you join our full-time ESOL programme, you will:
  • Keep all your current benefits and may receive other allowances (conditions apply)
  • Receive support towards childcare costs if required
  • Have a chance to gain a certificate (FETAC Levels 3-5 , Junior  and Leaving Certificate, ECDL etc.)
  • Get additional help and support if required
  • Have fun as you learn in friendly surroundings
  • Benefit from highly skilled and experienced tutors
