Self Access Learning and Information

The Self-Access Adult Learning and Information Centre is a state of the art centre where all users can find information resources on courses, careers and career planning and support services for adults returning to education.

The Centre also has 12 computers with broadband Internet access and learning software. This is for use in ‘Self-Directed’ learning and is available to all learners who are enrolled on a Limerick City Adult Education Service funded course during any given academic year. People currently use the Centre to:

  • Prepare assignments and do research for class
  • Practise and update IT skills
